Good food and service - and they had rock and roll playing (in the background)!
Nice restaurant located in the center of town. Pool table, bar area and eating area provide a relaxing atmosphere. Stuff Chicken breast with Mash potatoes and roasted veggies was really nice. Waitress was prompt and friendly, was nice after a very long bike ride from Lake St.Peter. Thanks for a nice meal and refreshing cold beer.
Bartender/server was quick, service was quick, Food was great, and lots of it. We are already planning our next trip.
Had take out so can't comment on atmosphere, sad I couldn't go back and check out the karaoke later in the evening lol Fries were deeeeelicious, reminds me of the old dairy queen fries before they changed them. Nostalgic and tasty! Also had the chicken caesar wrap which had a really decent amount of meat in there, no complaints at all. My husband enjoyed his food as well :) (double deck burger and poutine was what he had)
Stopped off here during a long drive from Toronto to Ottawa - I'm glad I did! Live music was great and the drinks selection was decent. Lots of lovely locals to chat and sing along with. I was a little skeptical of the food as the menu seemed standard pub fare, but it was actually great! Some of the best wings, fries and pickles I've had in Canada. Definitely stop by if you're passing through the town
Lana was an amazing waitress, and again, Leann was another amazing waitress. The fish tacos were amazing l. I would recommend this restaurant/bar
NOTE: This review is for Wings & Strings. I haven’t been since it changed hands. Really great experience here. The food was great, staff are awesome and the prices are super reasonable. I love that they have Karaoke and live music nights and stay open till 11!!! Very civilized The only complaint I almost had was that the lighting was a bit bright for a dinner ambiance but then owner Eva came in and, voila! She definitely knows what she’s doing! This will be a regular spot for us!!
Great spot with great food !! Rebecca our server was fast and efficient, also very kind. Leah who's the chef makes the best food! Highly recommend
